Q. What distance will the remote work on the candles?

A. The pillar candles will detect the remote up to 15 feet away. The taper, votive & tealight candles will detect the remote up to 10 feet away. NOTE: Not all candles are remote ready, check item listing for details.


Q. How many candles will the remote operate?

A. One remote can operate a variety of candles. If they are in group settings, the remote will turn them on simultaneously. If they are separate, just point the remote at each candle.


Q. How does the remote work?

A. Pull the plastic tab on the remote so the battery connects. It is important to place the candle in the ON and not the TIMER position. The remote will not function when in the timer mode position. Turn the candle to the on position. Point the remote at the candle and push the off button. Now your candle should be off and the remote should be able to turn on the candle.


Q. What size battery does the remote control take?

A. The battery is a CR2025 which can be purchased at most retail stores that sell batteries.


Q. How to set the 5 hour timer function on the PILLAR candles?

A. Turn the candle to the TIMER position at the desired time you want the candles to come on every day. Example: If you want your candles to begin their 5 hour cycle at 6pm every evening, then turn them to the timer position at 6pm. To reset the on time, turn the candles off and turn them to the timer position at the new desired time.


Q. How do you set the timers on the TAPER candles?

A. Push the button on the bottom of the candle, the candle should turn on, then hold the button in until the candle blinks. You timer is now set and will stay on for 5 hours and turn off for 19 hours.


Q. Using the timer function for the OUTDOOR pillars?

A. Turn the candle to the ON position then push and hold the button until it blinks. Now your timer is set for the same time every day.


Q. How long does one set of batteries last?

A. Run time varies on the size of the battery. See details for run time on the items your interested in.


Q. How do I change the batteries in the tealights?

A. Use a quarter not a nickel. The battery cover is purposely tight to create the proper connection to produce the moving flame effect. Place quarter in the groove. Press down very firmly and turn cover slightly to the left. The battery compartment cover will spring open. The battery loads + side up. Line up the two cover tabs to match the housing notches and hold cover firmly in position. Place the quarter into the grove and press down firmly as you turn the cover clockwise to close. Be careful to avoid touching the wick as you load the new battery into the tealight. Each tealight uses one lithium CR2450 battery. We offer replacement batteries for your tea lights.


Q. How long does the charge last on the rechargeable tea lights?

A. Approximately 18 hours continuous run time. Using the timer feature, 3 to 4 days. When they start to dim, they are ready to recharge.


Q. What position are the rechargeable votive in when they are on the charging base?

A. The rechargeable candles need to charge in the OFF position for them to charge properly.


Q. Are the rechargeable tea lights remote ready?

A. Yes the rechargeable tea lights are remote ready.


Q. What is the difference between the indoor candle and the outdoor candle?

A. The indoor candle is made of wax and the outdoor candle is made of resin, a hard plastic that will not melt.


Q. Can you use your indoor candles outside?

A. You can use them outdoors, but not recommended for hot days, or in direct sunlight. They are made of wax and will melt. They are not intended to be left out in the elements.


Q. Do the taper candles fit in a traditional candle holder?

A. Yes, they are the standard size at 3/4 inch.


Q. Can the LED bulbs be changed out of the candles?

A. No, the bulbs are built into the candle but the LED lights should last approximately 100,000 hours.
